Quiz tomorrow!  Be sure to study the vocabulary words you defined in Lesson 2.  The domestication of animals and plants will be a key part of the quiz - how and why did the early farmers do it?
Don't forget about the selection, "Skara Brae," and how it relates to Hunters/Gatherers and Early Farmers.  Also, consider the web we did together in class - What do all people have in common no matter when, where, or they live(d).  Study all the above and you'll do well - good luck!

Read the selection,"Skara Brae," on pgs. 50 - 56. Make sure you use the T-chart to answer the question, What is this story actually about?  Don't forget to consider the predictions we made in class, this will help you with your reading! After you're done with the story, respond to the Literature Review questions found on p.55.  Also, think about what you want to do for Make a Difference Day -
Sunday, Oct. 23, 2004.  Try to come up with something unique - Try not to duplicate what last year's classes did - Be original!
