EXAMPLE : CHEF

 

A Chef is a person who prepares food.

 

A chef needs to know math in order to alter (Make them larger or smaller ) recipes.

 

A chef is able to convert units of measure (Example cups to pints).

 

A Chef should be able to determine  the correct size of the cooking container. How many cubic units a container holds. (Volume).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Science Project

 

 

Using the internet or newspaper choose one of the following US Cities and record on a chart the high temperature, low temperature and weather for that day. You will be  recording data for Saturday December  22nd to Tuesday January 1st.

 

The cities you can choose from are NYC, Boston, Atlanta, Boston or Philadelphia.
